Sleeping city 2012-2015
I work immediately with modeling in an expression that contains references to both landscape and bodily forms. "Sleeping City" is a work that allows for dreams and associations but has an open relationship with the viewer. It will be perceived as a large, vibrant shape in the space. The title is chosen among several possible, but the association with the rhythms, structures and pulse of the city has been a starting point. The material zinc has a matte gray character that matches the expression I wanted to achieve.
